Hymns and Other Music

by James Wyatt

During my time in ministry, and in seminary, I wrote a total of ten hymns. Usually, they came about because I was working on an unusual sermon, a strange take on a Biblical text, something like that, and I found that there was a serious shortage of hymns on the subject. So I wrote one. I make no claims about their greatness. I am proud of the fact that I could write these hymns and bring them to my congregations in Brilliant and Rush Run, Ohio—and these were not singing churches, mind you—and they could sing them just fine. Not like some hymns you run across. Anyway, on these pages you can see the music, hear the tune (if you've got some plug-in that will handle MIDI files), and download text, tune (standard MIDI file format), and music (GIF files).

Then, while you're at it, check out these other compositions of mine.
