The Monday Night Game

This is the ongoing campaign I've been playing for three years now, since I started working at Wizards of the Coast. Some of the players have shifted around a lot. The group began as the Sumberton campaign, with Dave Noonan DMing. Rich Baker and Warren Wyman joined the group when Ed Stark started his Forghul campaign. With Dave and Tim both out a lot recently, we've added Amy Wyatt and Dale Donovan to the group as we've played a variety of things. Here are the campaigns we've played on Mondays and/or Wednesdays over the years.

In addition to the games listed below, I ran one session of an adventure on Aquela with this group before Ed started his Forghul campaign, and I ran an Oriental Adventures playtest for a while, which I never really talked about because it was so secret.

Our Wacky Savage Species Game (DM: James)

A gold dragon, a green slaad, a water naga, and a ghaele eladrin walk into a bar...

The Forghul Campaign (DM: Ed Stark)

A northern kingdom plagued by frost giants, a cunning pit fiend, and—of all things—yuan-ti: the heroes of Forghul have plenty to keep their hands full.

Forgotten Realms Playtest (DM: James Wyatt and Rich Baker)

For about eight months, starting in December of 2001 and wrapping up in August of 2002, we playtested this Forgotten Realms superadventure, with James DMing. More recently, we played through an FR adventure that Rich Baker wrote for DUNGEON Adventures, with Rich DMing.

Sumberton (DM: Dave Noonan)

The first Monday Night Campaign, running from January 2000 to just before the release of the D&D core books.
